Solution for external use
Indications for use
Lugol's solution with glycerin is used for irritation conditions of the mucous membranes of the pharynx and larynx, angular stomatitis (angular cheilitis).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to iodine preparations. Severe liver and kidney conditions. Use with caution: hyperthyroidism, herpetiform dermatitis, children under 12 years of age.
Method of administration
Lugol's solution with glycerin is applied externally to lubricate the mucous membrane of the pharynx and larynx 1-2 times a day.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
Contraindicated for internal use during pregnancy. During breastfeeding, use is possible if the potential benefit to the mother outweighs the possible risk to the child. Consultation with a specialist is required.
