Recutan has several effects due to the chemicals contained in chamomile flower extract, including soothing (suppresses exudative processes), wound-recovery (stimulates tissue regeneration), and some cleansing properties. Recutan is not a local irritant. Long-term use of the product has no negative effects on the body.
It is used alone or as part of combination support for irritation conditions of the oral cavity (stomatitis, gingivitis, glossitis, periodontitis); for conditions of the upper respiratory tract (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, including after tonsillectomy); in proctology for hemorrhoids; in gynecology – topically for irritation processes and cervical erosion; and for prophylactic vaginal support before cesarean section. The product can be used as rinses, inhalations, enemas, and baths.
Internally for chronic gastritis, colitis, enterocolitis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer.
