Viferon is an antiviral product, the main active component of which is interferon alpha-2b. Its action is aimed at suppressing viruses, strengthening the immune system and avoiding a number of conditions. It is available in the form of rectal suppositories, each of which contains 150,000 IU of interferon alpha-2b. There are 10 candles in a package.

It is recommended to use Viferon for influenza, seasonal discomfort, viral respiratory tract irritation, herpes irritation and other conditions caused by viruses.

Viferon is well tolerated and does not cause side effects. Children under 7 years of age can use Viferon only as recommended by a doctor.

Acute respiratory viral irritation, including influenza, incl. complicated by bacterial irritation in children and adults - in complex support;
irritation conditions of newborns, incl. premature babies: pneumonia (bacterial, viral, chlamydial), meningitis (bacterial, viral), sepsis, intrauterine irritation (chlamydia, herpes, cytomegalovirus irritation, enterovirus irritation, candidiasis, including visceral, mycoplasmosis) - in complex support;
chronic viral hepatitis B, C, D in children and adults - in complex support, incl. in combination with the use of plasmapheresis and hemosorption for chronic viral hepatitis of pronounced activity, complicated by cirrhosis of the liver;
irritation conditions of the urogenital tract (chlamydia, cytomegalovirus irritation, ureaplasmosis, trichomoniasis, gardnerellosis, papillomavirus irritation, bacterial vaginosis, recurrent vaginal candidiasis, mycoplasmosis) in adults, including pregnant women - in complex support;
primary or recurrent herpetic irritation of the skin and mucous membranes, localized form, mild to moderate course, incl. urogenital form in adults, including pregnant women;
viral meningitis in children over 4 years of age - in complex support;
chronic bacterial prostatitis in adults - in complex support.
