Kagocel® is used as a prophylactic and wellness support for adults and children over 3 years of age , as well as a solution for herpes in adults.

24 hours after administration, Kagocel® accumulates mainly in the liver, to a lesser extent in the lungs, thymus, spleen, kidneys, and lymph nodes. Low concentrations are observed in adipose tissue, heart, muscles, testicles, brain, and blood plasma. The low content of Kagocel® in the brain is explained by the high molecular weight of the product, which hinders its penetration through the blood-brain barrier. In blood plasma, the product is mainly in a bound form. With daily multiple administration of Kagocel®, the distribution volume varies widely in all organs examined. The accumulation of the product is especially pronounced in the spleen and lymph nodes. When taken orally, about 20% of the administered dose of the product enters the general bloodstream.
