Description

Enema syringes are used for irrigation and suction of fluids from body cavities. They are intended for use in supportive institutions as well as for individual use at home. They can also be used as a cleansing enema.

Method of application

Before use, the syringe must be disinfected. The bulb should be disinfected by boiling in distilled water for 10 ± 5 minutes. After disinfection, rinse the syringe with running drinking water. Lubricate the tip with vaseline, lanolin, or another neutral fat.

The syringe should not be in contact with a solution for more than 30 minutes. After use, rinse the syringe with hot water and dry it.
