Composition
active substances: 1 g of cream contains betamethasone (as dipropionate) 0.5 mg, clotrimazole 10 mg, gentamicin (as sulfate) 1 mg
excipients: mineral oil, white soft paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, propylene glycol, polyethylene glycol cetostearyl ether, benzyl alcohol, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, phosphoric acid, sodium hydroxide, purified water.
Form
Cream.
Main properties:
a homogeneous cream of soft consistency, white or almost white, free from foreign particles.
Indications
Support of dermatoses sensitive to corticosteroids in the presence (or suspected presence) of bacterial and/or fungal irritations caused by microorganisms susceptible to the product.
Contraindications
The product is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the active substances or any other component of the blend, to other aminoglycoside supportive products (cross-sensitive reactions to gentamicin), or imidazole derivatives (cross-sensitive reactions to clotrimazole). Also contraindicated in skin tuberculosis, cutaneous manifestations of syphilis, post-vaccination skin reactions, skin ulcers, acne, widespread plaque psoriasis, viral skin irritations (e.g., herpes simplex, herpes zoster), varicose veins, perioral dermatitis, rosacea, chickenpox, or other bacterial and fungal skin irritations without appropriate antibacterial or antifungal support.
Triderm is not intended for use under occlusive dressings.
Triderm should not be applied to mucous membranes, the eyes, or the area around the eyes.
Do not use the cream for support of nail or scalp irritations.
